The official “Country Music Ambassador” of both Alaska and Hawaii, Earl Hughes has entertained audiences and U.S. troops around the world for many years.

As a young man he played steel guitar in Don Ho’s band in Hawaii. He later moved to Alaska and entertained audiences there for years. A few years ago he and his wife moved to Idaho while he continued to do summer shows in Alaska.

He’s now spending most of his time here in Idaho and playing with many local artists as a “sideman” and headlining his own shows.

One of Earl’s passions is providing talented artists from Idaho opportunities to perform live with top-notch professional musicians. To that end, “Opry Idaho” was formed by Earl and others to provide a vehicle for local talent to shine. We’re not sure who’s joining Earl for this show yet, but you can be assured that this is a show you don’t want to miss!
